The secure server software (SSL) encrypts all information you input before it is sent to Rewards Network. - Q. Why do I need to create a Username and Password on the Rewards Network website?

A. To remain eligible to earn additional RBC Rewards points for dining, you'll need to create a Username and Password when you set up your account with Rewards Network. By creating a Username and Password on the Rewards Network website, you can personalize your secure profile page, enabling you to:
- Update and change your personal information (name, address, email address, etc.)
- Track the additional RBC Rewards points you earn at participating restaurants
- Click and select "special" time of day dining incentives. For example, a restaurant may require you to make a reservation for a specific time or a certain day to earn additional RBC Rewards points.
- Sign-up to receive email updates from Rewards Network about participating restaurants
- Q. What information do I need to provide to set up my account and begin earning additional RBC Rewards points for dining?
- A. When you set up your account you need to provide your name, address, RBC Royal BankVisa card number, a Username and Password and an email address. (You'll be given the opportunity to decline email communications.)
- Q. Can I enroll in more than one program operated by Rewards Network?
- A. Rewards Network operates numerous private and co-branded dining & hotel programs where members earn a different reward, e.g. loyalty "points", airline miles or cash back. You may have memberships in several rewards programs run by Rewards Network, but your RBC Royal Bank Visa card may only be registered in one program at a time. If you do not remain enrolled in this dining program, you will not earn additional RBC Rewards points. - A. Whatever your dining tastes, chances are you'll love the selection of participating restaurants, located in Canada and throughout the United States. To locate participating restaurants near you, please use our online Restaurant Search.
- Q. Do participating restaurants offer members a full range of cuisine choices?
- A. Yes. The Rewards Network program offers dozens of cuisine categories. Cuisine categories are listed alphabetically, and Search Results can be sorted to include only specific cuisines of interest to you for your upcoming plans. There's even a separate category for Bars & Clubs. When searching for benefits, just select your cuisine of choice – including Bars & Clubs – to find a location in the area that meets your needs.
- Q. Will I earn additional RBC Rewards points at Bars & Clubs, too?
- A. Yes. Visiting participating Bars & Clubs works exactly the same way as visiting a participating restaurant. Benefits are completely discreet and you'll earn additional RBC Rewards points on the whole bill – tax and tip included – when you pay with a registered card during a valid awards period. Just log in with your Username and Password to see the benefits schedule.
- Q. What kind of establishments are included in the Bars & Clubs category?
- A. Establishments in this category include everything from trendy martini and wine bars, to music, comedy and late-night dance clubs. We'll be adding new in-spots to our Bars & Clubs lineup over the coming year, so check back often to see what's new both in your local area and in destinations coast to coast.
- Q. Can I provide feedback about my experiences at participating establishments?
- A. Absolutely! In fact, we make it easy to rate all your visits to participating establishments. Simply log in to our web site and go to the "My Rewards" page in the "My Account" section. Then click on "Rate your dining experience" next to each transaction. Your survey feedback will be incorporated into our member ratings, which are displayed on our web site. You can only provide your feedback after you've had a qualified transaction at that location.
- Q. How do I earn additional RBC Rewards points by dining tonight?

- Locate participating restaurants in the neighborhood where you plan to dine via our online Restaurant Search.
- Choose where you would like to dine with the help of the restaurant information provided by Rewards Network. Information includes cuisine type, venue description, address, phone number, menusand more.
- Pay for your meal with your RBC Royal Bank Visa card.
- Additional RBC Rewards points will be credited to your program's account and Royal Bank will automatically add those additional RBC Rewards points onto your next Visa statement.¹

- Q. How many additional RBC Rewards points will I earn for dining?
- A. At most participating restaurants you'll earn one additional RBC Rewards point for every $1.00 spent - and that's in addition to the RBC Rewards points you already earn with your RBC Royal Bank Visa card.
- Q. Will my additional RBC Rewards points be indicated at the restaurant on the bill?
- A. No. The bill and your receipt at the restaurant will only reflect the amount of your dine, not the additional RBC Rewards points you'll earn.
- Q. When can I earn additional RBC Rewards points?
- A. The majority of participating restaurants offer additional RBC Rewards points every day they are open, some additional restaurants vary by day. The web site lists the times and days when additional RBC Rewards points are being offered for all participating restaurants.
- Q. Is there a limit on the amount of additional RBC Rewards points I can generate at participating restaurants?
- A. RBC Rewards members can earn additional points for an unlimited number of visits each month at most participating restaurants for the first $600*** spent at each restaurant each calendar month. To learn whether a specific restaurant has a limit on the number of visits, check the Guidelines for this Restaurant section of each restaurant's "Details" page (accessible from the Search Results page).
- Q. Can I still earn benefits if I'm using a coupon?
- A. Rewards Network benefits are not available when used with coupons, other dining programs, discount cards or restaurant promotions. Additionally, benefits may not be awarded for planned events such as large business functions or parties where a special pricing has been negotiated directly with the restaurant, if you do not have prior consent from the restaurant to receive your benefits. You may contact Rewards Network Member Services for assistance with plans for large functions.
- Q. Can I earn additional RBC Rewards points when I invite guests?
- A. You will earn additional RBC Rewards points based on the amount of your total dining bill - including the tax and tip. Simply make sure to pay the total amount of your bill with your RBC Royal BankVisa card.
- Q. How will I know when my additional RBC Rewards points are awarded?
- A. You can view the additional RBC Rewards points awarded by Rewards Network for dining in the My Points section of rbcrewards.rewardsnetwork.com once you have activated your membership. Please allow up to 10 days for your additional RBC Rewards points to appear on the Rewards Network website. Your additional RBC Rewards points will be available to redeem from Royal Bank in your RBC Rewards account generally within 45-60 days of your dine. You can also verify your points on your next Visa statement issued by Royal Bank.¹
